Well done. Isn’t it interesting that, as far as a I know, the major networks did not carry any news or much news of Bettie’s life and death? Amazing. They virtually stopped programming to follow the madness that followed the death of a silicone-enhanced, gold-digging bimbo–Anna Nicole Smith–but the death of what will probably be an immortal American icon gets short shrift. And it strikes me as cruel injustice that while former model Tyra Banks, a woman seemingly as snarky and cold as Bettie was warm and sweet, can make millions coldly posing for pictures and then masquerading as a talk show hostess. Banks probably owns mansions on both coasts. According to what I’ve read, Bettie spent most of her final years in a one-bedroom apartment.

It’s true; there is no such thing as justice in this life, only circumstances.
