Video of the Day: Ladytron, “Ghosts”
Ladytron returns with a tougher sound on Velocifero, and this first clip, “Ghosts,” is a thoroughly creepy desert-apocalypse vision. Anyone who has traveled between Phoenix and Barstow knows that it feels like the end of the world. There are times when you feel like you’ve passed that same Joshua tree a thousand times, and it wouldn’t surprise you to see a mushroom cloud rising in the distance. Or, in Ladytron’s case, to see a bunch of pale, skinny Brits get swarmed by rabbits.
