In honor of last night’s great show at the Ford Center, we see Kanye West in a slow-motion desert murder thriller, a stark contrast to the high-intensity “Flashing Lights” of his “Glow in the Dark” tour.

have you seen the semi-official bootleg version of this featuring footage from Wong Kar-Wai’s “2046?”

Yeah, Kev, it’s pretty amazing. I’m generally a little skeptical of bootlegs — i.e., the stuff set to footage from “CSI” or “Gossip Girl” that chokes YouTube — but this that clip is exceptional, mainly because 1) the source material is beyond reproach, and 2) the execution is light years better than most of the “music from the motion picture” video we used to watch on MTV as kids.

Apparently this is from a series of bootlegs that Kanye commissioned to use during the release party for “Graduation.” Attenders listened to the entire album for the first time with these visuals.
