Are Sonic fans the only ones reading these blogs?...Ooops, I mean Sonics fans from Seattle. Well, for whatever reason a handfull of OKC business men have convinced this community that it can and should support an NBA franchise. Although I wouldn't say that this is definitely truy, there is evidence that OKC may be able to support a team. I don't really blame the citizens of Oklahoma for being excited by the prospect of getting the Sonics. If given a choice, I think the majority of them would prefer to have the Hornets, and if not the Hornets then an expansion team before they'd want the Sonics to move to OKC. Whether an NBA franchise will ultimately succeed in OKC is up in the air, but it looks like they will at least get the chance one way or the other.

Hey OKC Morons/Thieves/Idiots

The Sonics are not your team, they belong to SEATTLE. For 41 years our fans have been loyal to the Sonics and you think you can swoop and steal them away from us? I don’t think so!! Clay Bennett is a fraud and a liar. Just because Oklahoma City is a minor-league town doesn’t mean you can steal the Sonics from Seattle. Pro sports doesn’t work like that but how would you know since you have never had a pro franchise of your own. Why? It’s simple, OKC is a minor-league town. You don’t deserve Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Luke Ridnour, or anybody else that proudly wears the green and gold. They are Seattle’s team and we love them in a way you will never know. So enjoy OU’s spring football practice because that’s all you will ever have you stupid hillbillies. Why would a free agent ever sign with OKC? Oh wait, they wouldn’t. Who wants to go to that dump. It doesn’t matter anyway because the Sonics are staying in Seattle. They are our team! So move on and try and steal someone else’s team you worthless bastards.

Sincerely,
Doug Johns

P.S. I know most of you can’t read but try your best. Yeeee-hawwww.

Clay Bennett, you are a coward and a gutless, heartless piece of garbage. Just like your columnist Jenni Carlson. But those aren't my words. Looks like everybody is subpar.

A message to all those who want an NBA team in OKC: get out of the 206! The Sonics belong in Seattle. If your moneybag, greed-filled, I want it all for me of a tyrant Clay Bennett, who has for some reason lost his hearing whenever a proposal comes up for a new arena, wants a team in OKC, he can talk to his buddy David Stern and get an expansion team. Show your face in Seattle, Clay Bennett. Accept the verbal lashing you will constantly receive from Sonics fans...oh wait, you won't because you never show your face to the public because you are too much of a cry baby whenever anybody ever says something bad about you. Grow up and get out of Seattle. You gutless and selfish little baby. Take the next offer you receive for the team because you won't get them to move to OKC. Just because you want a team in OKC doesn't mean you can just buy one and bring it to your doorstep. That's not how sports works! So stop reporting on this team like they play in your town, because they never will!! Get your reporters off the streets of Seattle, and take your horse and buggy back to OKC, then have Rhett Bomar wash it off and pay him a couple grand for it. That's worked before.

Sincerely,
Kelly B. McGillivray
