IN 2004 SYLVIA BROWNE WRONGLY PREDICTED OSAMA BIN LADEN DEAD
On December 28, 2005, on CNN’s Larry King Live I had this exchange with alleged psychic Sylvia Browne after another guest asked Sylvia the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden: (from the CNN transcript):
KING: All right, Dr. Farha what’s your complaint? I know you took on Sylvia in an article but what’s your complaint about the overall concept here?
FARHA: Well, first of all, let’s put this in perspective here. Last year on the Montel Williams Show, Sylvia predicted that Osama bin Laden is dead. I don’t know if Sylvia still thinks that or not but I’d sure like to know.
BROWNE: Yes, I do.
FARHA: My whole take on this is — OK, very good, well we’ll find out sometime Sylvia. We’ll find out.
Well, Sylvia—we found out. Of course we now know that he was clearly alive at the time of her 2004 prediction and he lived until early May of 2011. Add this to her recent idotic failed prediction that aliens would visit Earth by 2010. Another in the growing list of failed predictions by Sylvia Browne….

We live in a world of conspiracy theorists, skeptics, investigators, and a media that is more thirsty for a story than anyone. You are the only person I’ve heard questioning if Bin Laden is dead. His death isn’t even being questioned by those in his own region. I can understand why some “believers” support liars like Sylvia, but you’re on an island with this one.
Wow this what atheist do?A whole site devoted to talking about things that goes against your religion.If you don’t believe then you don’t, but why continue to battle and debate, move on and get a life.For people that don’t believe in the Super Natural you all sure talk a lot about it.Examining deception, fakery, and false beliefs, because you know everything there is to know about everything.
Science hasn’t proven how to some of the smallest things in the world, I won’t say because I know how atheist are, you’ll just respond that it has been proven but they’re are many.You have a false belief, because just like Christianity, there are many kinds of evolution, and do you really think if science can’t prove some of the smallest things on Earth then you really they can find out how humans got here.If God isn’t real, then what does it matter if people believe in one, if God is not real it’s not like they will be punished for it.Get over it , grow up, and get a life.You would never be able to find the evidence of evolution being faked because atheist are the biggest internet trolls and have everything covered, so you can’t question it.Hey they sound familiar, they kind of sound like the people they criticize on a daily basis.Why even have a website?You track down everything somebody says that doesn’t have the same religion as you and hold them to it, why do you care.

You all don’t know how annoying you are, and you telling me that evolution doesn’t sound supernatural, we’ve never actually seen it happen, oh yeah it takes a million years, how convenient.So I guess in million years somebody will give birth to a freak baby and that baby will begot freaks and humans will be no more, we’ll just evolve, but it’s totally random and works in mysterious ways.

Your comment is precisely why I’m interested in studying extraordinary claims and falsehoods. You have incorrectly assumed–and mentioned it repeatedly–that I’m an athiest. You are dead wrong, sir. Assumptions can get us into trouble. You assume I’m an athiest because I show indesputable evidence that an alleged psychic is wrong? Embrace critical thinking–it’ll help you in the real world.
Wow, I had heard of Sylvia Brown before, but had no idea she was so popular. This is precisely what needs to be done with people who claim to have supernatural powers, actually test their predictions, and confront them when they’re incorrect. I don’t understand people who put any stock in what she has to say, it’s so transparent that she’s in this for the money, why else would she charge $850 for a phone reading?
I dont get why religion and atheists is even being brought up in this blog. To me that is plain ignorance. Why would the government lie about this? Didn’t someone film this when it went on when they captured him. There are so many facts that have been shown by the media and everywhere. Basically she is a liar and dilussional.

so as far as we are concerned; Silvia could be right. Once I heard the news of Bin Laden being captured and shot; and dead and blah, blah, blah, we saw ZERO, ZERO; proof that he was dead.
The U.S governement is already not the most trustworty. I wouldn’t even trust; my brother’s cat with the U.S. Government and I hate that damn cat- I could honestly drop kick him
I thought it was too suspicious; and *convenient* that; ooops; no photos were available. I like evidence.
Can’t believe idiots; just sit there and believe the Government really did shoot him; when they showed zero evidence (their the same governemtn who are shady with 9/11 by the way) and the poor people who had proof of 9/11 all dropped like flies one by one; by one.
So I wouldn’t trust the government with this one.
And as for Silvia Brown. Her predictions are terrible; of course; but telling her she is wrong; is pointless; when there was no proof of Bin Laden’s death with the always shady governemnt we have.
