In my personal opinion anyone who thinks they can create a force field to protect themselves while fire walking deserves to have their feet cooked.
It is a frightening snapshot, Walking barefoot on the fire, May not have the feeling he does not suffer Balkadimn, or perhaps the train burning skin and a sense of the death of the skin.
I believe of the way that our bodies work . and doing such a thing like walking on fire is one of the most painful experiments. First it depends on how our skin is built on our foot . Thicker than the rest of our body? yes . second if they can ” adjust ” their mind and devote their thinking, why cant the walk on their hands?
The explanation that was given regarding wood being a poor thermal conductor seems to make perfect sense. Otherwise, the fire walkers should be able to stand on the fire as well (or at least walk slowly). I think the value of this type of activity is perhaps more about people facing their fear of doing something, rather than actually achieving a state where the body is impervious to fire.
I never realized that people claimed to have a special forcefield around them while walking on the coals. When I envision firewalking I expect there to be a big prize after winning Fearfactor or some kind of game show. The use of science to disprove the paranormal is very impressive. Taking the average distance and putting the meditators to the test should put the paranormal to rest. Well done science!
I can’t speak for any other firewalk than the one I did in on the streets of New York City of all places. It was anything but fake. Nine people went to the hospitial with second degree burns on their feet. I had a blister for 3 days that was the size of a quater before it burst. Before you disclaim it you need to walk across it. I would have never guessed a force field. Strong belief and willpower, maybe. Either way this was an interesting video.
