I’ve been studying Sylvia Browne for years and, unfortunately, I know her like the back of my hand–and I strongly believe that she is not delusional. She knows exactly what she is doing. If she was delusional and thought she had psychic ability, she would keep her 3 promises made on live, international tv to be tested for her alleged ability.

While Sylvia Browne did provide a first name that matched the kidnapper of the boy, her other information was drastically off. I feel like the fact that she can tell desperate people incorrect information while making a profit is despicable. I would certainly like to see statistical data on her level of accuracy.

reading your blogs and doing a little research, I have come to the conclusion that Sylvia Browne’s so called psychic ability is no more than a job. There are those in our society who makes a living off of those who have faith. There is one thing common about successful people who claim to have special abilities. They all have Charisma and charisma can go a long way in our society. The problem with Sylvia and people like her, their so called psychic abilities can harm people both financially and emotionally. I think deep down we all want to believe in something other than what we see with our own eyes. Skepticism is alive and well and thanks to people like yourself, Sylvia Browne and others will continue to be exposed for who and what they truly are.

this is fascinating stuff. i’m wondering if anyone has checked into the question of whether people such as ms. browne and john edward are blatant liars/deceivers or whether they suffer from some form of mental illness or personality disorder, which causes them to be either delusional or pathological liars or both. whew, these people work my nerves to the nth degree, primarily because desperate, phenomenon seeking individuals who thrive on the “fantastical” are their eager and willing prey.
