Mel Bracht
Mel Bracht, a 1978 Indiana University graduate, joined The Oklahoman in 1994. He became an editorial writer in July 2011. Bracht has lived in Oklahoma since 1982, and served as assistant sports editor for The Tulsa Tribune from 1982-1992. He also writes a sports media column for The Oklahoman.
Owen Canfield
Owen Canfield joined The Oklahoman in 2003 after 19 years with The Associated Press, based in Oklahoma City. Owen grew up in Connecticut, one of 10 children born to a newspaperman dad and homemaker mom. He has lived in Oklahoma since 1977 when he arrived to attend the University of Oklahoma.
J.E. McReynolds
J.E. McReynolds, Opinion Editor at The Oklahoman, is a native Oklahoman and graduate of Oklahoma State University. He joined the newspaper as business editor in 1985 and has worked for the Opinion Page since 1995.
