We should rope off the distance of the crane if possible turn over. There should be lift plans made before lift is made. Lift plan should consist of size of crane, the radius before lift the radius after lift gross weight, and net weight, size of rigging and the capacities of the rigging, wind speeds of the day of the pick this is so we know the crane is capable of doing the job. The crane should have a list of maintinance files in the machine along with rigging certs., copy of annual inspection, and every crane should have a monthly inspection which is done by company and also in the machine . Safety is not to be overlooked and ask me to overlook safety would be like saying i dont care about you or your family.
