Holiday foot traffic expected to increase this year, ShopperTrak says

Retail sales are expected to rise more than 3 percent in the U.S. this year, the first projected increase since 2007, according to a report released Wednesday by ShopperTrak, which makes sales projections based on foot traffic to retail stores.
