In what will probably be his final farewell on a stage this prominent, Speaker Dennis Hastert, my former boss and the longest-serving Republican Speaker in American history, was feted by BNSF at a reception this afternoon. The Speaker retired from Congress at the end of 2007. Here is a picture I took at the occasion.
