Saying goodbye to Clara

I will be covering the funeral services for beloved civil rights leader and longtime educator Clara Luper (pictured) today at the Cox Convention Center.

I may tweet some of my observances for those who are interested in the service but cannot attend.

Luper’s legacy lives on in me and many, many others.

I have no doubt that the funeral service and “celebration of life” will be a fitting tribute.
