So, though they may use terms like “wizard” frequently throughout the series, it is more closely related to the X-Men than anything occult. It’s just the WORDS “witch” and “witchcraft” that offend people. It has nothing to do with the actual themes of the books. They could just as easily be aliens or mutants.

It shows young people to be self less and gives them morals. Harry chooses to save others lives rather than save his own….does that sound familiar?

Just because you don’t understand something doesn’t mean its evil and besides is that what religion is helping people have faith in the things we cant see?
