Hey you have to calm down on this. Rick Warren is a class act and will be an asset to the inaugural ceremony. Just because he favors" traditional marriage", as most Californians and Americans do, should not be held against him, or anyone else for that matter.
Please remember, marriage is a biblical term, not a secular one. That's why civil unions were created, which anyone can understand. I mean if you're not a Muslim, why would you want to celebrate Ramaadan? Doesn't really make sense, does it?
By the way, out of 6 billion people on earth, some 2.5 billion are Muslims. They have no tolerance for Homosexuals..just check out the laws for the Muslim countries, you"ll be shocked. Rev. Louis Farakan is a muslim and nobody singles him out for his stance on homosexuality and he is a friend of Pres. elect Obama. Most homosexuals are pretty decent people and I know they understand our society and the views most people have on this. When you oppose people who hold different views with scorn, just based on their religious beliefs, then you become just as intolerant. Life is much too short and precious to be that way. I know one thing for sure, in life, you get what you give. So give love to the ones you disagree with, they'll give you love back. You can disagree without being disagreeable.
