Tulsa churches to offer ShareFest
Numerous Oklahoma City area church volunteers have spread throughout the community for a one-day blitz, spreading hope to neighborhood schools, faith and civic groups and other organizations.
Volunteers repair schools and homes, hold neighborhood carnivals and health fairs and perform others of kindness for the communities surrounding their churches. The simultaneous community service efforty is called ShareFest OKC and it has spread to Tulsa.
Cornerstone Assistance Network leaders said today that Tulsa church leaders like the Rev. Hess Hester of Southern Hills Baptist Church, is bringing ShareFest to the Tulsa area Nov. 1-2. Leaders report that 28 churches have already signed up.
