Not just to women, but to anyone who has the spirit of the Rocker in their blood. I’ve loved her since high school in 1980 and she’s truly in a league of her own. Her voice is instantly identifiable and any song she wraps that voice arounds sounds amazing. What is great about this concert is it’s simply all about the music–no fast edits, no hi-tech light imagery, no gimmicks–it’s all straight-up, in your face rock and roll–the way Chrissie Hynde serves it. She proves without a doubt that she’s still far more relevant than most new artists. You may not love her aggressive vegetarian stance, but the woman commits to something she believes in! And in this DVD, you get a glimpse that she’s not giving up her rocker persona any time soon! Bring on, Chrissie–you’re too PRECIOUS!
