Oklahoma GOP Gets $5 Million from Romney Fundraising Committee

A joint fundraising committee for Republican Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign transferred nearly $5 million to the Oklahoma Republican Party’s account on July 31, according to a report filed by the state party on Monday with the Federal Election Commission.
The $4.99 million came from donors around the country. The contributions were divided up among four state Republican Party organizations and other GOP committees.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks the flow of campaign money, joint fundraising committees have been formed by both presidential campaigns and political parties to allow people who have donated the legal limit directly to the candidates to give more money.…

Saturday, December 4, 1993

Funeral services for Reuel W. Little, a Madill lawyer and rancher who played a major role in the formation of a third political party in Oklahoma in the 1960s, were Friday in Madill.

Little, 92, who was the American Party’s candidate for governor in 1970, died Wednesday.

Janna Little Ryan’s Parents

Janna Little Ryan, the wife of GOP vice presidential pick Rep. Paul Ryan, is the daughter of Dan and the late Prudence Little. Both of her parents have been generous with their time and money to Oklahoma charities and causes and public boards and commissions.
Dan Little has served as a University of Oklahoma regent and as chairman of the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics in Oklahoma City.
