Oklahoma Republican Party Chairman Matt Pinnell Comments on Ryan VP Pick

Here is the statement of Matt Pinnell, chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party, on the selection of Rep. Paul Ryan.

“Today marks a turning point in this presidential race. Ryan’s addition to the ticket shows that Governor Romney, in addition to his focus on job creation, is prepared to run a robust campaign with a sharp message built around tax and spending cuts, deficit reduction and entitlement reform; policies that will literally save this country.

“When you couple this winning message with the fact that he’s married to an Oklahoman and his dogs are named Boomer and Sooner, Mitt Romney couldn’t have chosen a more qualified running mate.”

Why are the Republicans behaving like the Democrats? As a conservative Republican I am very angry that my party would discriminate against me and the Tea Party Conservatives by this vote. This is going to play out by making our party look rediculous with the infighting and cowardice. If our party contines to exclude real conservatives as delagates there is going to be another party, and I for one will join it.
