Lankford Presents Medals to World War II Hero

Edmond native Dr. Hall Duncan only recently learned that he had earned eight medals for his service in World War II. He contacted U.S. Rep. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, for help getting his military records, and Lankford pinned the medals on Duncan on Friday.

“It is truly an honor to finally present these long-deserved medals to Dr. Hall Duncan,” Lankford said.

OU President David Boren Notes Passing of Al Cromley

University of Oklahoma President David Boren issued a statement on Wednesday about the passing of Al Cromley, the long-time Washington bureau chief of The Oklahoman. Cromley, who was 89 when he died on Monday, covered Boren’s 15 years in the U.S. Senate.
