Dems are rapidly becoming a irrelevant rump-completely out of the mainstream in this conservative state.I bet some of the donkey’s are really nostalgic for the big crook–Gene Stipe to run their party,again.Oh yeah Stipe is in prison.

Also, on the second ballot,after the two Greens through support to Collins, they figured the first results wrong (ugh!) and came back with a second set of results: Downs, 2; Orwig, 157; Collins, 249; and Barnes, 143; with I think 3 abstentions. So that put Collins and Orwig in the run-off.

While this convention was by all accounts an unorganized mess of historic proportions, I’m confident new leadership will be able to make things right in two years.
