Will there be a town hall meeting in Drumright this year.

According to the congressman’s office, Drumright won’t be one of the Creek County sites this year. Lucas, whose sprawling district includes 32 counties in Oklahoma, holds town hall meetings in each of them every year.

Sorry I missed your meeting in my town of Sapulpa because I had much to talk about, I want to know about the hiring prctices of the ODOT, road construction jobs going to mostly Mexicans, BECO got the contract for the construction on W 81 st in Creek County, when I asked why there are no white workers on those jobs proviced by our tax dollars, I was told by BECO that we whities not man enough for those jobs, yep, was told we couldn’t handle the job, just to tough, BECO hires through Work Forse, that provide the Mexican, they don’t talk English, so hou do they fill out those online apllications? Collusion I think. sgtkelso@cox.net

when the ODOT lets those contracts a stipulation should include a livabe wage then those jobs would go to legal tax paying ok citizens, don’t you think?

you will see these bloggs over on Topix, Okdemocrat, Tulsa forum , Senate Forum, Ok Democrats and others, it just burns my back side that out tax dollars are providing jobs for non English speaking Mexicans, any one looking for a job ? go to BECO at Sand Springs and see if they tell you you are not man enough to fill those jobs, Their PH nunber 918-445-2684,check out hourly wages
