Oklahoma City Ward 6 election money

Meg Salyer, who retained her seat on the Oklahoma City Council, out raised her main opponent Adrian Van Manen by more than $100,000. She also outspent her Van Manen by nearly $100,000.

On March 1, Salyer, who is president of a local business, garnered 64 percent of the Ward 6 vote to 27 percent for tea-party backed Van Manen, a music director at the politically active Windsor Hills Baptist Church. Jessica Holstein, a research assistant at a psychiatry clinic, received 9 percent of the vote. As of 2:30 p.m. Friday, Holstein had not filed the latest round of campaign finance reports. The deadline is 5 p.m. today.

Below are the reports that have been filed. I’ll update with Holstein’s latest filing when it is available. Check out Salyer’s and Van Manen’s reports below.
