Oklahoma City Council awards arena contracts
As part of its consent agenda, the Oklahoma City Council just awarded this morning about $36 million to finish improvements at the Oklahoma City Arena.
It is the last piece of a $100 million overhaul of the arena paid for with a sales tax approved by voters in 2008 to lure the Thunder to the city.
It wasn’t the only athletic facility that will get an upgrade. Another contract awarded was $704,336 for improvements at city park athletic fields. That money will pay for improvements at
