Dan Boren Injured Putting up Campaign Signs
U.S. Congressman Dan Boren, D-Muskogee, will probably let his campaign aides put up his campaign signs from now on after an accident with a T-post driver this morning resulted in several stitches in his hand.
Boren was near Peggs in Cherokee County with some time to spare before a meeting when he decided to put some signs up, according to his spokesman Cole Perryman.
The T-post driver, a tool typically used to drive fence posts into the ground, smashed Boren’s hand, and he had to go to the emergency room in Tahlequah for treatment.
Perryman said the congressman was back out on the campaign trail today.
