Pruitt files for Attorney General
Former State Senator and owner of the Oklahoma City Redhawks declared his candidacy for attorney general this morning. Pruitt said as attorney general he would work to protect the state’s rights and challenge encroachment of the federal government.
Pruitt, a Republican, said the state’s Attorney General should be involved in lawsuits challenging the national health care.
Pruitt faces Republican Ryan Leonard in the primary election on July 27. Democrat Jim Priest has also filed for the office.
