Coburn’s Tough Call: Fiscal Commission or Goldman Sachs Testimony?

Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Muskogee, is going to have a busy Tuesday and some tough choices on how to spend his time. At 9:30 a.m. he’s supposed to be at the White House for the first meeting of a special commission on the nation’s debt.
But at 10 a.m. some Goldman Sachs executives are scheduled to testify to a subcommittee on which Coburn is the top Republican.
Coburn is expected to spend some time at each event.
