I am amazed by how easily swayed peoples opinions are if you simply spend enough on propaganda. On an issue-by-issue basis most of the points embraced by this bill are also embraced by Americans, but because the Insurance industry has dropped another billion trotting out misleading monikers to hang on the legislation we have the tea-party set behaving like spoiled children.
Our system of health care is an embarrassment as it stands and for the republicans to fight any significant reform has shown that they are completely controlled by the big insurance companies and a few other major players that are making a bundle by riding the American people like disposable mules.
