I know of such research that agrees with what you have said, however I also know if such research that says just the opposite. Also a known fact, is that the earth has a history of making dramatic swings in the climate, naturally without humans ever being around. Senator isn’t saying that global warming isn’t happening, he’s simply saying the doesn’t think it’s not a man made issue. Once upon a time in a land far far away there was this thing called the Ice Age, perhaps you’ve heard of it. And, in case you didn’t know there has been a recent cooling trend. But don’t get me wrong, I think we could all do better with pollution, waste, etc.

CO2 in higher concentrations traps more heat; its a well established fact. Warmer temperatures create climate change; its a well known fact. There are many other theories and data spawned from these facts that should be heavily debated however, these are irrefutable facts such as gravity and that the earth is round.

I’m sure glad Oklahoma voted in a senator who was 38 years old when he finally received his Bachelors degree; unfortunately he is giving off the impression all Oklahomans are this stubbornly ignorant.
