Fellow freshman senators in 2005, Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Muskogee, and President Barack Obama still look like they have a close relationship here:

Clearly, Obama and Coburn have a lot of mutual respect from working together on key initiatives. I think if asked Obama would describe Coburn as a man of principle. And if asked, Coburn would describe Obama as a man of principle.

What a disgrace…Tom Coburn you should know better to hug the devil.

I e-mailed Coburn’s office my displeasure. I received a standardized pre-prepared response that informed me that he’ll get to my e-mail when he’s looked at the other 35,000 he has to read. I wonder how many of those were like mine.

In an obvious moment of bipartisanship, it is disheartening to hear that an Oklahoman call our nation’s president the devil. I proudly backed Obama, but I would have been supportive of McCain had he won. It is my sincere hope that soon, the sect of individuals who let down their country by criticizing our President realize that their is no need for that. It is a detriment to our society. I applaud Coburn for that. Good job, sir.

SO FAKE!! COBURN IS WANTING TV TIME W/ PRES OBAMA!!!HOW VAIN!! AS FOR OBAMA BEING THE DEVIL, YOU HAVE SOME NERVE!!!
I SEE A BLUE EYED DEVIL IN THE PICTURE,PROBABLY JUST LIKE YOU!!!

Jason and Phil, what is the problem? You get mad at Coburn because he came down from his seat to greet his President??? Are you saying you don’t want bipartisanship, you don’t want the these two men to work together to solve the greatest crisis our country has faced in decades? There is a big difference between disagreeing and being disagreeable. Your attitude is representative of what is wrong with this country.
