This response is to your article in Sunday’s Oklaahoman on Gov. Palin’s ties to our state. Cult watchers have been following the Character Training Institute & the other offshoots founded by their leader, Bill Gothard. Ample research into the group IACC is available on the internet. A cursory look into the group’s stated aims reveal it to be considerably less benign than the sidebar to your article indicated. In addition, I’m curious about the similarity of names between your source, Steve Menzel and an often cited spokesperson for the group, Ron Henzel (?!?).
