This is, as a humor magazine once scoffed, a town full of student council presidents. Policy wonks and political junkies flock to this town, many of them as Capitol Hill or administration aides, to play the game at the highest level.

Oklahoma House Speaker a blog away
House Speaker Lance Cargill just announced he is starting a new Capitol blog, where Oklahomans can go to check in on Capitol news.
The web log–most often called a blog–will give “Oklahomans a fresh viewpoint on what’s going on at their state Capitol,” Cargill said. He plans to post on his blog two to three times each week, and comments will be allowed and only screened for “objectionable content,” Cargill’s spokesman said.
The blog will provide “candid commentary on state government and regular updates on reforms brought by conservative state lawmakers,” his press release says.…
