Staff Photographers have been busy lately with sports coverage. There was Bedlam Football, of course, but also Thunder, and high school football, which will wrap up with the state championship games this weekend.

SLAM Magazine Cover
Back in October I wrote up a blog entry about photographing the Oklahoma City Thunder media day at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Since then, I’ve wanted to go back and show off some the pictures that Staff Photographer Chris Landsberger came up with, and now I have a good reason. The editors at SLAM Magazine noticed Chris’ pictures of Kevin Durant and wanted to use them in their magazine. As both of you may already know, SLAM is a periodical dedicated to coverage of basketball, especially NBA and NCAA. As it turns out, Landsberger’s picture of Kevin Durant was featured on the cover of the magazine.
