Health care rallies

People on both sides of the health care debate held rallies at the State Capitol in Oklahoma City on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009. By John Clanton, The Oklahoman
People in favor of a public option gathered on the south side of the Oklahoma State Capitol at around noon on Sunday, after a short march. A few hours later, people opposed to the legislation gathered on the other side of the building. I collected several images from the afternoon, and paired it with a counterpart from the opposing rally.

mary mary quite contrary , , you must be delesional , , the Leftists outright OWN all of the media outlets except for a very few , so pleas do not whine about there being no coverage about those who are begging for the big “0″‘s “chains” of oppression, because when his supporters get together , there can be 25 and their allies in the media explode it into a 25,000 people rally. And BTW there were non in D.C.in support , and the big “0″ himself could not stand to face the Patriots who Were There he ran to Minnesota.
Great job John!
Good idea to do diptychs of the two rallies. They work wonderfully together. Makes people on opposite sides seem so similar.

Thank you, John. I’ve looked all day for coverage on the marchs in support of Health Care Reform, both OKC and Washington DC, but haven’t found anything ’til now. So much media attention is given to the vociferous Right, I was really hoping that there would be at least a mention of the rallies to the Left. Journalistic balance, you know?
So much for the highly touted LIBERAL media…
