Hostesses honor Allison Klos at wedding shower in Oklahoma City

Allison Klos who is marrying Matt Eagan was honored at a luncheon in the home of Jane Elliott.
Members of mother of the bride, Linda Klos’, “Walkie Talkie” walking group were hostesses. They are Elliott, Sue Timberlake, Janis Mildren, Betty Lou Stewart, Martha Bradshaw, Patty Cohenour, Leslie Regens, Becky Johnston, Libby Payne and Susan Sigmon.
Everyone wore charm bracelets and necklaces. The hostesses gave her a vintage silver charm bracelet with a wedding theme…hearts, wedding rings, something blue, bride and groom and a tennis shoe (for the walkers).
Party guests also brought charms for the bride including a wedding cake, frog prince, state of Texas, a bridal bouquet, and wedding rings with wedding date. Guests included Jennifer Klos, Linda Klos, Marjorie Polk, Jeanne Polk, Margo Ward and Ashley Black.
The wedding is Sept. 19th

Hallie Henley and William Sims were honored at a wedding shower and dinner July 11.
Hosts were Janie and Greg Cook in their Oak Tree home. Co-hosts were the Cooks, Susie and Tommy Gray, Cyndi and Jim David, Gwen and Jack Volbrecht, Ann and Zane Fleming, Cathy and Mike Cross, Shelley and Kent Studebaker and Amy and Eddie Edwards.
They gave the engaged couple a monogrammed silver champagne cooler.
The centerpiece on the dining room table was a bouquet of yellow lilies and blue hydrangeas.
The engaged couple will be married in January, 2010. Their parents are Marilyn and Jack Henley, Edmond, and Mary and Frank Sims, Shawnee.
Harriet Motter, Frank Sims, Mary Sims and Gene Motter have fun at the party.

A shower and dinner party honored Margot Smith and Mike Gray. It was in the home of Seyan and John Hefner.
Guests brought bottles of their favorite wines to stock a wine cellar for the engaged couple.
Hosts were Lucy and John Covington, Peggy and Nick Duncan, Wendi and Dan Foltz and Kim and Roy Wallace.
The engaged couple will be married May 24 in Aspen, Co.

Paige Gordon and Ben Dougherty were honorees for cocktails, dinner and a wedding shower in the home of Katie and Aubrey McClendon.
Co-hosts were Louise and Clay Bennett, Lerri and Rick Cooper, Amy and Eddie Edwards, Laurie and Charlie Givens and Beverly and John Perri.
Tables were set outdoors and beautiful flowers, peonies, hydrangeas, lilacs and tulips, were on the tables, the buffet table and throughout the house.
Among the guests were Beth and Ed Wells, Ellen Carey, Kelly Ford, Emily Prieto, Sherry and Ford Price, Mary Lee and Brian Dougherty, Beverly and Mike Ellis, Gaye Sherman, Jan Hoepfner, Debbie and Jeff Bolding, Katherine and Michael Nichols, Tallie, Triska and Charlie Givens, Warren and Blair Bunch, Amy and Adam Hutchinson, Justin Dick, Diane and Tod Sanger, Debbie and Mike McCurdy, and Brian Beavers.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful buffet supper.

A couple’s shower honored Megan Edwards and Andy Brauml in the home of Sara and Rob Northwood. Co-hosts were Janie and Jon Axton, Kirk and Royce Hammons and Nancy and Larry Herzel.
The Northwood home was decorated with silver epergnes filled with hydrangeas, roses and lilies.
60 people attended the event, including the sister of the bride, Paige Edwards Frenzel. Also there were Lucinda and David Huffman, Susan Porter, Mary and J. Robert Reneau, Gennie and Bob Johnson, Jeary and Mike Seikel, Barbara and Jay Quillian, Kathleen and Tim O’Toole and Sandy and Michael Mayhall.
The wedding is scheduled for August in Colo. Springs, Colo.

A bridal shower honored Paige Gordon recently . Hostesses were Barbie Bales, Sherry Cash, Diane Sanger, Sherry Blanton, Gaye Sherman and Debbie Bolding in the Bales home.
The bride wore a beautiful purple dress and high-heeled wedge shoes.
Paige gave all of the hostesses gifts of pink monogrammed bathrobes.
Among guests were Dana Gordon, Callie Gordon, Jennie Peterson, Jose Freede, Susan Drake and Jan Hoepfner.
Paige and Ben Dougherty will be married in June.

Engaged couple Denise Duong and Matt Seikel were honorees at a dinner, kitchen and bar wedding shower in the home of Jane and Sandy Elliott.
Hosts for the party were the Elliotts, Sody and Robert Clements, Toni and David Cook, Jane Crain, Linda and Tom Klos, Marty and Robert Margo, Mary and Bill Price, Betty Lou Stewart and Rene and Bill Vassar.
Decorations included the Elliotts’ collection of vintage, ceramic bride and groom cake toppers.
