Friends of Erin Moore and Blake Beeler gathered for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Harry’s Bar at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club to celebrate their upcoming wedding. They will be married in June in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

A huge bouquet of sunflowers, roses, Gerber daisies and delphiniums were set on the table where a variety of foods were served.

Engaged couple honored at brunch

A Sunday brunch honored engaged couple Elizabeth Jordan and Hunter Hoehn. The event was in the Veranda Terrace of the Waterford Hotel. The couple will be married in April in Tulsa.
In the host group ( parents of the groomsmen) were Christ Ernst, Chele and Gary Gatewood, Joanie and Blair Holmboe, Kim and David Rainbolt, Mary and Frank Sims, Robin and Chris Wray. They gave the couple crystal wine glasses.
Mirrored vases held pink peonies, white hydrangeas and pink roses.

Brooke and Ryan Coe were honored at a cocktail dinner party themed “It’s A Done Deal” in the home of Becky and Steve Wetwiska. The couple was married in July at Castle Pines, Colo. This was an Oklahoma City celebration for their friends. She is the former Brooke Glass.
Pictures from the wedding decorated the entry and dining table, as well as red roses and hydrangeas. Tables outside were decorated with brightly-colored tablecloths, candles and tall vases of white hydrangeas and white roses.
Jared Sutton provided music during dinner.

Tina and Elby Beal were hosts for a party honoring Genevieve Chognard and Brendon Quick who will be married this month. Other hosts were Sallie and Wendell Cavin, Marcia and Mack Morgan, Rhonda and Jim Williston and Marylee and Tim Strange.
It was a Mexican Fiesta and Big Truck Taco Truck was in the driveway. Gerber daisies, zinnias and kalanchoes decorated the tables and there were paper Fiesta flags and piñatas. Napkins were imprinted with a chili pepper and “Genevieve and Brendon-One Hot Couple.”
Tacos and side dishes were prepared by the hostesses, along with fiesta colored cupcakes and cookies shaped like chili peppers. Drinks were frozen margaritas and Mexican beer.

The cocktail buffet and miscellaneous shower invitation featured an airplane with a breaking news headline banner and noted “This just in…Chic Carolina Reporter Falls for Handsome Flyboy.” Colin is an Air Force Captain and Charlotte is an investigative reporter and news anchor in Raleigh.
Gerber daisies, green mums, blue larkspur and roses in glass vases were on the tables and salmon, beef tenderloin, shrimp, lemon tarts and cranberry cookies were among the food items.

Out-of-town guests for the wedding of Lauren Steakley and Tucker Brollier were entertained at a Mexican Fiesta in the home of Shari and Charles Buxton. Co-hosts were Gay and Ed Kirby, Anita and Phil Patterson, Billye and Jimmie Austin, Machen and Sam Daube, Kay and Bill Gustafson.
Outdoor tables were decorated with embroidered Mexican cloths.

A brunch in the home of Barbara and Ralph Thompson honored Heather and John Enis. The couple was married July 4 in San Francisco, Ca. John Enis is a third year radiology resident in San Antonio, Tx., and Heather Enis is studying for her master’s degree in critical care nursing.
Co-hosts with the Thompsons were Bev and Henri Chansolme, Mary True and David Newmann, Linda Steinhorn, Barbara and Ralph Thompson, Sherri Toland and Carleen and Jerry Burger.
A large photo on an easel at the front door greeted the guests, showing the bride and groom descending the steps of the historic SF Old St. Mary’s Cathedral built in 1853. Pictures of the wedding were featured in glass frames on the tables. Bouquets of white roses and baby’s breath also decorated the tables.
