Parties Extra!—Update on Chef Mary Payne Moran of Hail Mary’s

Former Oklahoma City resident, Chef Mary Payne Moran who appeared on NewsOk’s Parties Extra! video recently, is now Food/Nutrition Writer for The Washington Times Communities section.
After graduation from the California School of Culinary Arts in 2002, Chef Mary Payne Moran began her professional career shelling crabs at Michael’s Restaurant in Santa Monica. She launched her own company, Hail Mary’s, founded upon the belief that good food nurtures the soul, and began catering weddings, parties and large corporate events.
In the fall of 2008, Mary began teaching her culinary skills to others at Hollywood School House.
Recently, Mary added another division to her company. She is now also a Certified Nutritionist for high profile clients. She helps her clients discover their healthy way of eating.
Her parents are Libby and Morton Payne, Oklahoma City.

Homecoming Activities set for Oklahoma City’s Casady School
HOMECOMING WEEK
Dr. John R. Bozalis will receive the Casady School Distinguished Graduate award at a Alumni Awards dinner on October 8 at 6:00 p.m. in Calvert Hall on the Casady Campus.
Terry Stuart Forst and Dr. Marcia Meiring will be honored that night for Alumni Achievement and Mary Payne Moran will receive the Young Alumni Achievement award.
Classes graduating 50 years ago or more from Casady will also be recognized at the Alumni Awards Dinner and 50-Year Banquet with a special Golden Cyclone gift. The classes of 1959 and 1954 have scheduled reunion activities during homecoming week.

Homecoming activities kick off with the ” Breaking New Ground at Casady” ceremony celebrating the expansion of the chapel and first steps toward construction of the new math facility on October 7 at 8:30 a.m.
