Kim Henry was hostess for the first annual Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s Oklahoma Super Luncheon at the Phillips Pavilion at the Governor’s Mansion.

It was an educational program and 60 people attendedO. Dr. Joan Walker was keynote speaker and Larry Bump was the OCRF ambassador and underwriter.

Since September is ovarian cancer awareness month, organizers marked  the occasion with lunches at Governors’ mansions and event spaces throughout the nation.


The March 27th First Ladies’ Gala Invitations Are In The Mail

Extra-large, engraved, beautiful invitations in cream and green  have been mailed by staff members at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. They herald the upcoming  First Ladies’ Gala on March 27th

Kim Henry, Cathy Keating, Rhonda Walters, Donna Nigh, Molly Boren and Ann Bartlett are honorary chairmen for the black- tie party.  It is at 6:30 p.m. at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

Henry and Harrison Levy are co-chairmen.  Liz Coe, Jim Mueller, Phyllis Stough and Becky Switzer are on the event committee and  Malinda Berry Fischer is development committee chairman.

 Judge Robert Henry, OMRF board member, will handle the evening’s introductions and a special and unique interactive video tailored for this event will be shown.  Larry T.Bird Gordon’s Band will play.

Information about the new OMRF 8-story research building and expansion will be announced.
