Four hostesses honor Elizabeth Taylor Semtner at a luncheon

Elizabeth Taylor Semtner was the honoree at a bridesmaid’s luncheon at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. She and John Semtner were married June 25th.
Martha Coe, Elizabeth Coe, Barbara Beeler and Kathy Griffin were hostesses and the invitations for the luncheon looked like a copy of the bridesmaid’s dresses. Napkins and place cards matched.
Silver compotes held bouquets of pink, purple and pale peach roses and hydrangeas. Chicken crepes were served, along with fruit salad and chocolate cake. Champagne was served with lavender sprigs.
The bride presented her bridesmaids with pearl necklaces, touched with sparkle, to wear in the wedding.

HONORING THE BRIDE AND BRIDESMAIDS

It was a special treat for Jose Freede and I to be hostesses for Paige Gordon and her beautiful bridesmaids. We asked her exactly what her favorite foods were that she wanted for her luncheon at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club and she replied cheese grits!
So along with a salad topped with chicken strips (those girls are very thin you know), we had a ramekin of grits.
The flowers for the tables were from Trochta’s and were beautiful roses, hydrangeas, orchids, stephanotis (very bridal looking).
Guests included Jan Hoepfner, the groom,Ben Dougherty‘s, mother; Molly Ann Sanger, the bride’s grandmother; Dana Gordon, the bride’s mother, Nancy Gordon, the bride’s grandmother; Sara and Sydney Geiger, Stephanie and Emmie Shaw, Caroline Sullivan, and all the bridesmaids.

COURTNEY WELLS HONORED

A party honored Courtney Wells who married James Dunavant on March 7th. The bridal luncheon was at The Coach House.
Mary Durbin, Lori Hill, Christy Johnson, Ginger Johnson, Debby McQueen and Debbie Pitman were hostesses. They gave the bride and her mother, Beth Wells, memory books with photos and notes from the bridal party and friends.
