A couple’s shower honored Chelsea Allen and Wes Sims recently. Jenny and Dr. David Chansolme were hosts and co-hosts were Suzy Merritt, Janie Carter, Hilarie Stone, Barbara Jones and Sarah Wienecke.
They served chicken enchilada, along with pork carnitas, black bean,corn and rice salad. The bride and groom who will be married in November broke a pinata filled with candies and trinkets.
Guests included Theresa Allen, Joe Allen, Linn Yount, Katie Allen, Kathleen and Fred Marks, Joan Allen, Sheli and Tom Adler, Liz and Tim McLaughlin, Mary Lou and Bernie Ille, Meg and Frank Ille, Suzy and Paul Merritt, Hilarie and Spencer Stone, Sarah and Dr. Rob Wienecke, Marni and Dr. Jay Sigmon, Whitney Price and Rita and Dale Mullins.
Also Dr. Michelle O’Meara, Jay Ross, Maggie Miller, Margy White, Beverly and Henri Chansolme, Becca Chansolme, Greg Chansolme, Debbie Margo, Julie Held, Stephanie Ronck, Mandy Melendez, Erin Helvey, Jarod Croy and Joe Harl.
Chelsea attended the University of Oklahoma and Wes is an OU graduate who was a four year football starter and played on OU’s 2000 National Championship team. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 2005.

TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Zack Taylor, Ashley Snider, Kim and Mike Mullins
A dinner and holiday shower honored Ashley Snider and Zack Taylor who were married Oct. 4.
It was in the home of Kirk and Royce Hammons. Co-hostesses were Susan Weaver, Jackie Acres and Jackie Jones.
The buffet table was decorated with a Christmas tree as the centerpiece which was a gift from the hostesses. There was an ornament for every holiday, plus wedding ornaments. The other tables featured different holidays, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving and July 4th. Gifts included a Stars and Stripes throw blanket and a pumpkin bowl filled with holiday napkins and cups.
