Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club members honored their new president of the board, Ed Wells, and his wife, Beth Wells, with a dinner and dance. 300 people were at the party. Beth’s strapless silk dress was violet- colored piped in purple.
On the menu was beef filet with hickory smoked mushrooms, along with gourmet salads and vegetables. Hors d’oeuvres were special too, including mini cheeseburgers, lobster corndogs, truffle French fires and hushpuppies. They were served from a table surrounded with a floor to ceiling tower of light.
Centerpieces were calla lilies, orchids, branches and Bells of Ireland in tall vases which were lighted. Tablecloths were blue and gold floral designs.
Among the guests: Myrla and Gary Pierson, Lisa and Robert Blair, Dana and Chris Gordon, Debbie and Jeff Bolding, David Huffman, Susan and Carl Edwards, Debbie and Marsh Pitman, Susan and Steve Porter, Amy and Eddie Edwards, Barbara and Roger Simons, Gennie and Bob Johnson, Sara and Rob Northwood and Cathy and Mike Cross.
