Dear Helen,
I agree that Ann Hoover will be fiercely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She and I had fun planning a party that my husband, David, and I gave for the group Ann brought to Washington in connection with her work on the National board of the Kennedy Center. Her enthusiasm and can-do spirit were infectious and will be forever remembered by so many. Of course, I'll never again put on pearls or red lipstick without thinking of Ann.

Helen:
Thanks for the wonderful words re. Ann - isn't it the truth? She turned Nichols Hills and NW OKC upside down when she moved here and it's hard to believe it was over 30 years ago.
I wish I could get your email links at home still - nothing I do seems to work. Maybe the paper just doesn't do that any longer. Anyway, nice to be in touch with you now and again!
Best,
Leslie
