MARDI GRAS PARTY

A traditional party at the Grace Living Center-Wilshire featured Mardi Gras masks and beads, a parade, food and entertainment. The event was held on “Fat Tuesday.”
Activities Director Kristie Garrett noted that there is a king and queen of Mardi Gras election and after dinner “King Cake” is served. “We make masks for all the residents and our staff members wear costumes,” she said. Administrator Gail Chapa is from New Orleans.
