KAPPA ALPHA THETA FOUNDER’S DAY

There were 100 members of Kappa Alpha Theta at the Founder’s Day luncheon at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club including active members of the sorority from Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma. Gayla Stapleton, alumnae president, summarized the year’s events.
The “Theta of the Year” award was formally presented to Lee Ann Nordin. Her selection had been announced in the fall. Linda Cutchall, Dorthlynn Gaddis, Jeanne Anne Hubbard, Judith Morrison and Sue Timberlake were introduced as fifty -year- Thetas. Betsy White read a biography of each honoree which coincided with a photo presentation.
Founder’s Day chairmen were Donna Blakley and Helene Huff. National officers are Elizabeth Prosser, newly-elected trustee of the KAT Foundation, and Carol Joullian, Alumnae District Officer.
