Longtime food editor at The Oklahoman who just retired, Sharon Dowell,  was luncheon honoree    at Nonna’s in Bricktown. Hostesses were Avis Scaramucci and Sherrel Jones. The group celebrated her 25 years in the food business.

Lunch was included a first course salad  and soup; choice of chicken enchiladas or chicken, tuna and fruit salad or tilapia and mini cream pies for dessert.

The group spent the afternoon talking about food memories.  Five of them stayed until 4:30, just talking about food. They agreed  to make the gathering an annual event.
