PARTIES WERE ALL OVER TOWN….
MEMORIES... (By David Faytinger, For The Oklahoman) Karla Wallace and Laura Ogle were at the dedication of the new Memorial Garden at Junior League Headquarters. The rose garden was set up as a tribute to the late Mex Frates who was a JL past president and community leader.. The first brick which is at the front and center of the garden had these words: “In memory of Mex Rodman Frates, 1908-2006, JL President 1933. “
EXCELLENT EVENING… (By Helen Ford Wallace) Lee Allan Smith and his wife DeAnn Smith, and Kristen and Joe Castiglione were downtown at the Beacon Club for dinner and dancing.The Smiths entertained a group of friends.
BONJOUR …( By Helen Ford Wallace) Linda Rodgers, Sarah Hogan and Sharon Bozalis were in Norman at the Legend’s Restaurant for a luncheon. Hogan invited a group of women to meet French native Ghislain d”Humieres, new director of the University of Oklahoma Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art.
SANDRA’S BOOK …(By David Faytinger, For The Oklahoman) Bev Carter and Sandra Shapard were at the book signing party given for Shapard by Jamie Davis at Jamie’s in Casady Square. Shapard has written a new book of poems called “Grandmotherhood.”

CELEBRATING 90... (Photos provided).Past President Louis Trost, Miss Oklahoma City University Molly Colvard and Past President Tom Flesher were at the dinner hosted by members of the Oklahoma City Kiwanis Club on their 90th birthday.
SPECIAL MAN…(Photo provided) Coleman, Mitchell, Carolyn and Jim Clark, back, and Jerry and B.C. Clark jr., front, celebrate B.C. Clark jr.’s 95th birthday at The Petroleum Club. Members of the downtown Kiwanis Club had a reception and luncheon in his honor. He was club president in 1955.
RECOGNITION…(Photos provided) Dean Stephen K. Young, Dr. Edwin Wilson, and Dr. Abbey Onan were at the Faculty Recognition Night for the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry at the Phillips Pavilion at the Governor’s Mansion.
