BREAKFAST AND HUNT…A full array of activities was on the schedule March 22 at the annual Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club Easter egg hunt.

There was a petting zoo featuring live animals. There were hundreds of hidden plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes, several costumed Easter bunnies, egg dying and cupcake decorating.

Staff members handed out stuffed bunnies and clowns painted flowers and bunnies on smiling children’s faces. Another clown created ballon animals and swords for the young guests who were children and grandchildren of club members. Everyone had juice and cookies prior to the hunt and then breakfast featuring a waffle sundae bar, eggs benedict and French toast sticks followed.

BEST BONNET, BEST BASKET…Kanela Huff was hostess for her annual Easter Sunday egg hunt and dinner.

The children’s hunt was at 5:05 p.m.; the adult hunt (with fabulous prizes) was at 5:40 p.m. and fried chicken and baked ham and hot dog dinner was served at 6:20 p.m.

The signed OU football prize went unclaimed, as there was not “best bonnet” in the crowd.

Lisa Voegeli baked her special decorated bunnies and egg cookies.

Tulips, orchids and bunny rabbits were decorations all over the Huff home. Big blow-up plastic eggs and rabbits were set outside. Easter eggs for the children who were 5 years old and under were filled with candy and Oklahoma quarters.

For the 5-10 year olds, prizes were games, beach towels and flashlights.

Guests included Candy and Tom Dulaney, Cindy Hollingsworth, Bob Barnard, Libby and Steve Steakley, Judy Lehmbeck, Cheryl and Steve Browne, Rawsie and Sonny Boyles, Barbara Boyles, Berit and Jack Sweeney, Karen and Gray Frederickson, Connie Givens, Jennie Givens, Elyse Hull, Jack and Whitt Hull and Kate Russell.
