AT LUNCH… Among the parties for Paige Edwards who married Michael Frenzel last weekend was the bridesmaid’s luncheon which was held at Nonna’s in Bricktown. The bride’s aunts, Amy Edwards and Eve Patterson, were hostesses.
PAIGE’S PARTIES… Claire Anderson, Penny McCaleb, Pat Northwood and Sara Northwood were hostesses for another party honoring Paige Edwards. It was in the home of the bride’s parents, Susan and Carl Edwards, and was a Sip and See party.
Guests viewed the wedding gifts and the hostesses gave the honoree an antique cache pot filled dahlias, impatiens, caladiums and ivy.
Among the neighbors and friends at the event were Shirley Shanker, Patsy Carey, Mary Reneau, Cindy Rodriguez, Julie Shelton, Nancy Gormley, Becky Greer, Debbie McQueen, Cindy Biddinger, Christy Johnson, Eve Patterson, Linda Reece, Sherrie Price, Gennie Johnson, Kirk Hammons, Cindy Rapp and Madeline Carroll.
Engaged couple Jennifer Edge and Patrick Quillian were honorees at the party at the Swisher Farm.
BARBECUE AT THE FARM…Jennifer Edge and Patrick Quillian were honored at a barbecue dinner at the Swisher Farm. Hosts were Shelley and Bill Swisher, Kathryn Swisher, Drs. Salima and Iftikhar Ahmad, Naureen Ahmad, Samina and Dr. Zaheer Baber, Omar Baber, Elizabeth Meade, Marilyn and Bud Meade and Karen Watson.
SHOWERING SHEA…Shea Weir was the honoree at a bridal shower and luncheon in the home of Carol Fisher. Co-hostess was Carol Taylor.
Weir and Sean Nevin will be married in Aspen, Colorado, on September 15th.
50 YEARS…The 1957 Northwest Classen High School reunion
featured a weekend of activities. 280 people came for the events.
On June 22nd, classmates played in a golf tournament at Rose Creek Golf Course. That night they were at the Waterford Hotel for registration and a cocktail party. The next night was a buffet dinner, music and dancing in the Lobby of the Chase Bank Building.
Reunion co-chairmen were Ramona Ware and Eddie Bodenheimer.
