TUESDAY AT SUNDOWN…Lela and Dr. Mark Sullivan were hosts for a dinner party in their home following Robin Farwell Gavin’s February 20 lecture on New Mexico Retablos at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

The Sullivans, who collect Retablos, many of patron saints, hung theirs in the dining room where guests had dinner. Gavin is the Senior Curator in the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art in Santa

BIRTHDAYS IN FEBRUARY…60 friends sharing February birthdays celebrated together on February 22 in the home of Susan Drake.

Co-hostesses were Anne Barker, Becky Buchanan, Amy Edwards, Sandy Faught, Barbara Hill and Gayle Semtner. The Drake home featured pink and white flowers and birthday balloon bouquets everywhere. Mini-cupcakes and brownies were birthday treats.

BARBECUE DINNER…Engaged couple Carolynn (cq) Bradley and Michael Wylder were honored at a dinner given by Tom Knott in his home on February 23. The wedding was the next night.

Co-hosting the party were Linda and Thomas Anthony and Linda and Mike Wylder. Mike Wylder brought in his large cooker from Duncan and cooked the barbecue all day.

DINNER AT THE TOMEKS…Marilee and George Tomek were hosts for dinner on February 17. Marilee Tomek served a special dinner of Polish cabbage rolls, Kluski noodles and cabbage, sauerkraut and mushrooms.

Guests included Dr. Clara Luper and her husband, Charles P. Wilson, and Joan and Mike Korenblit.
