		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t recall my parents going out of their way to scare me--though they would have had no compunction about it. It&#039;s just that I don&#039;t think it was necessary; I was already seeking out the dark and creepy on my own. I do recall the magic of road trips. I loved the summer ones at night when my dad (an avid astronomer) would point out the annual meteor shower. I loved autumnal jaunts to visit relatives in neighboring states. We used to hunt for fossils, and visit museums, and historic monuments. Really great memories. But I watched my share of TV too :-D]]></description>
