Strange humanoid creature caught on deer cam?
Just this week I received a message in my in-box stating a very alarming message.
“I have recently been given pictures that were taken on a family plot of land in Wister oklahoma on Nov 30 2010 at aprox 1 45 a.m by a camera trap that was in place to track deer movements what was captured on the other hand was no flippin deer and was nothing short of creepy as hell it was a bipedal humanoid type thing that apeared to be attemting to investigate the pile of corn left for the deer and was startled by the camera trap cause it looked right at it I’ve attached one photo and would really apreciate any insight on this matter because there are some freeked out people here you may also contact me by phone at….”
So, I look at the photo and I will admit it’s a very creepy image. The thought of something like “that” prancing around in the woods scares me a bit. I took a peek at the photo. First glance, photo shop job. Then I just started searching the net for unusual photos caught by a deer cam. Within seconds I find the same image, plastered all over the internet. This is a big deal on the internet right now. Some paranormal researchers are actually reporting it to be unexplained while others are realizing it’s not what it appears to be.
Even local media is jumping the bandwagon concerning this strange creature. It makes you wonder what ever happened to the concept of investigative reporting. Here is an example of one media source that is ready and willing to believe anything that’s posted on the internet.
Viral videos are everywhere on the internet. People fall for them all the time, even “professional paranormal experts”. Genius marketing or someone that has a lot of time on their hands, or both. No matter what, it totally works!
Here is the original story posted about the creature. Same story, different place.
“A deer hunter at Berwick, Louisiana, has captured a strange image of something wandering through the Louisiana woods at night. The hunter near Baton Rouge reported to the media that he found this bizarre image on his deer stand camera.”
The image was apparently a marketing gimmick created by a hunting company called Wildgame Innovations they posted the image on their Facebook page and created a small story to make it seem real. Then they changed the the source of the image to a production of a movie titled Super 8. But, the Super8 news website is denying the accusations of this viral video. I found it odd that Steven Spielberg would need assistance with promoting a film. It’s my two cents that the Wildgame Technology has sold a lot of deer cams. Not only hunters are using them but ghost hunters are jumping on the bandwagon without taking a few minutes out of their day to research the truth about the image.
This deer cam capture has been “debunked” by the many people that are not ready to jump to conclusions concerning creatures and paranormal phenomenon. Creepy image indeed. And I’m not too ashamed to say that the woods do freak me out. I would much rather spend the night in a rumored haunted building compared to camping in the deep woods. Perhaps images like this is what keeps me away. I am totally aware that creatures like this are not real but it would be my luck to be the first to come face to face with something this freakish. I will leave the crypto-hunters to do their job. I will stick with investigating rumors of ghosts .

i believe it and i would be real freaked out if i got it on my trail camera but i realy wouldnt no what to do if it was my land i would not sell it but i wouldnt hunt on it any more but they need to try to kill it
Seems legit, actually. In the shots I have seen on the net there are a small grouping of sticks in front of the arm on the left side (our left) and they are definitely in front of the creature. The dimensionality would have also been hard to fake. I looked closely at the pixels on my browser with a magnifier program and they are the same size and shape, even though that can possibly be forged. There is no smudging or distortion around the figure either. The RGB Range is a bit higher within the figure, but that could be due to the camera catching a 3 dimensional object. This is either a very expert job, a guy dressed up to look like an alien, or the real deal. You choose.
I just got this very same picture in a text last night…and had the same person re-send it today…the pic is the same in each text, BUT the place the picture was taken was in TWO different parts of Oklahoma. I think it is nothing but a great hoax!

Indeed this is creepy and considering I live out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by woods. I would have to say this is “fake.” I live in northern Louisiana. I have gotten this picture through text and on my facebook page. Each time I got it, it was in a different location. So far I have heard of this taking place in 2 parts of Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. If it would have just been in one location, I might woulda given it a second thought.
I think its real! There’s a bunch of paranormal activity in the woods I got plenty of photos of ghostly figures but this one I do believe is real!!! Believe what u want but scientist find new creatures every day!
I think its not real. if you look at the top pic. above 12 04 2010 it looks like to me there is a pant leg like some one is holding this up. and besides most cams are motion detected . where are pics of him running away . this is the only one . hmmmm anyway just a thought.also has any one seen lord of the rings. just saying.
This is so fake. The two pictures in this article ate the same. The one on the 4 of December and the one from november 30 are the same picture number. Picture 139. All they did was fake one and change the date on it. The time is even the same
it has reflective eyes like a racoon or cat might have, it also has large shoulders with very thin arms, those arms would not be able to support that body for very long, it has thin legs as well which would not be able to support it either, if this was a creature it is obvisouly a malnourished individual which could cause it to search for food in unusal places, if it was a creature i don’t think we would have to fear it, because it says it was interested in the corn that was layed out for the deers, its a hrebavour and probably wouldn’t attack humans, which could explain it not be noticed until now, but if you ask me its most likely a photo shopped image or someone plaing a practical joke

My cousins ex step mom sent her and my aunt that picture and said that someone in her family caught that on a game camera in arkansas and that they where having the pic sent to nasa to authenticated and i talk to a friend i got whos big into hunting and he sent me the exact same pic except not zoomed in like the one my cousin sent me but the background was the exact same and he said someone sent it to him and said it was in oklahoma so wat i think is there are way to many gulible ppl in the world today that is like omg with out even sitting there tryin to rationalize wats going on and besides it kinda looks like an xray of a large ape or gorilla.
This picture has been sent to me and most of the ppl I know by text and the story going with it was that it was that 2 men set up the deer cam in the woods to see if it was a good place to hunt and got this but they said it was in danville arkansas which is around where I live…scared the hell outta me at first because I work at night and would make my husband walk me out to the car since we live down a dirt road out in the woods…had to research it and make sure this wasnt on the news or anything that would show it was real….lmao got me good for a minute

i just got done drinking water from the arkansas river cuz i woke up in the woods with cottin mouth after gettin drunk and stoned and standin on that bridge and askin where mamalou was with her baby and had a hankering for some corn on the cob but here was the next best thing,, dry corn with deer slobber all over it ,,YUMMMMM

i dont know what it is and i dont believe anyone who has posted anything on this page knows either. mostly because theyre all illiterate. there are things in this world that most people wouldnt accept as REAL, that exist. however, this probably isnt the case. whatever state it may have been taken in obviously has no hunters in residence. when i was 13 i tracked a squirrel through 5 acres of thick woods and found it under a log in the rain. but, im really not that much of a hunter so what does this tell u class? 2 plus 2 equals what?

This picture has made its way to Cherokee NC. My cousin sent me a txt with this same exact picture an somebody had sent to her sayin that it was caught on a deer cam on Mt. Noble just on the otherside of the mtn where I live. When I first seen this I already knew it had to be fake. And where I come from Cherokee is a small town an its making its way around our town fast. So I decided to look it up an now I know its not real by all the sightings an it first started in Oklahoma so therefore NO WAY IN MY BOOK!!!!…. LOL
I think that is my uncle, sometimes he gets drunk and naked and wanders around local hunt clubs…he likes the plublicity.

A guy at work just brought this to me which he received on his phone by a hunter friend in WV, at first I thought it to be pretty cool, I have close to thirty years in the paranormal field and after getting the photo on a larger screen than a phone it looked very creepy to say but very fake also, first thing I thought of was a speed skater (ice) which would explain the eyes and head, they have glasses that hug the head and have a streatch type cover over the head usually with a stripe in middle which you can almost make out down the middle of the head. the stance also looks like when they first start a race and taking a corner with there left knee almost touching the ice. I will have to check out the video game mentioned, if there are fellows roaming around in it like this it would most likely have to be pretty good.
So totally a photoshop job, the numbers match and the time too, the dates are the only thing different. so a fake!!!

notice how those dates are different. =.=” i know this caught my attention, but thats just me… IN MY OPINION i think one of them is REAL and one is FAKE!… i have no clue if im correct but yea…Believe what you want. I would say this is fake, but I live in oklahoma myself, and almost hit something that looked like this with my truck. I thought well ok maybe it was a really tall naked homeless guy crawling across the road, until a overwhelming fear and evil feeling set in. Since I seen that thing, nothing but bad luck has hit my family. 2 other people have now seen it as well, and bad luck has started for them as well. I dont know what it was, but i know it stays close to the river.

I’ve been trying to research just this type of thing.. My two friends both saw something just like this on one of the backroads in Southern New Hampshire. I guess the one driving was too afraid to stop for it and they drove right THROUGH it… no bump or anything. About 5 minutes later, my friend sitting in the passenger seat said “Did you see that back there?”
As I hear the story it gave me chills. They both described the “thing” as a Human with hair on it’s arms, crawling across the road on all fours pretty quickly.
I don’t know if they have had bad luck.

I think its real, I doubt we’ll ever know all the creatures in the world, I think this picture shows one of those creatures that we don’t know about, like bigfoot they all might be real, so i know that that picture could very well be real, but then again it could not… we might never know

well the research center where i live has been researching this month after month…they have found this creature in Geary Oklahoma…i believe this creature is real!!!

Sorry for all you misbelievers out there, but I lived in Sevierville,Tenn in the 90′s, and I saw that very creature at my window(he chirps kind of like a bird), and was also in our front yard eating eggs out of birdnests!He started running on two legs then dropped to run on four legs fast! check out the Cherokee legends about these creatures. They found them in caves & killed them, because they were unnatural. Our media keeps a lot of supernatural stuff hidden from us. They want our attentions somewhere else,Like TV………

hmmm makes me think back a few years ago when me an 2 of my friends were walking into this big old railroad buildings back into some woods near a river only light we had was my zippo and as we approached the back of the building the zippo went out and it was too hott to get lit again and just that time something tore ass up out from under where the trains would pull in so you can go under and work on them well it butsed out from there noisey as hell went up the wall through the broken windows across the roof and down the other side we ran outside trying to get a glimps of it and all you could see was weeds swaying back and forth as it was running off, never could explain it till i started seeing these pics and a short video of these creatures seems like something like this is capable of doing such acts, someone had said a name of it on the internet cant remember right now but they also said it would be about 10 feet tall if it could stand up and could jump long distances……..

For anyone who isn’t a skeptic and believes this photo is genuine, I believe I can prove this creature exists and explain what it is. I’ve found four videos of the same creature and I’ve done a lot of research and I freaking want to get my idea out there. I’m not one of those losers just seeking attention. I tried sharing my idea with one organization and they shut me down, bunch of skeptics. Lame. If anyone knows of a good group to get in contact with to explain this thing please let me know. you may not believe in cryptids or the supernatural but to me that creature looks like a Wendigo. Look at other pictures of them and compare it to this one and you will see. If you do not knoow a Wendigo is a creature who was once a man and eventually turned cannibalistic and ate human flesh and they eventually turned into a Wendigo and this creature eats human fleah to stay alive and can become immortal or live for centuries. It’s weakness is fire. Either that or someone could have taken your memory card in the camera transfered on a photoshopped image and returned it. two different possibilities.

You know, this isn’t some made up creature. It has been caught on video, and they have even found a severed head of one. Personally, I think it’s a vampire.
I know they are real. I came face to face with one when I was younger. It had scared some of the kids in the neighborhood including my younger brother and sister. So I told them I would bring the dog(which I thought that it would be). I was wrong when I came face to face with it. It was crawling as fast as I was running and when I stopped to see if it was a dog I realized it was more of a human with no hair, no eyes, no ears just holes in the side of the head. I seen it a few more times.
Later, after I married and had children I was told that my grandfather and his brothers seen a white thing, as we called it, when they were younger.
They are here and they come out at night. I have seen them not to long ago but I hear their piercing screams in the night.
I have written my encounter down for my children to know. If I had known my grandfather had seen one of those creatures I would have gone to him and told him what I saw. It is to bad that people don’t tell what they see.

holy s*** I swear I have seen this or something like it at fall creek falls state park TN. I was walking back to my cabin from taking a shower at fall creek falls TN USA, and heard something moving in the leaves (I only had my clothes and a small flashlight but its bright enough to see at 25 feet pretty good), I turned and saw one of the scariest things of my life, when I put my on it, it stopped moving in the leaves it turned stood up and looked right at me before shrieking at me like a woman really scared or something, then it ran at me and I am really sure was trying to attack me but all of a sudden it ran into like an invisible wall or something it hit its head right into it, it looked right at me hissed try to move forward and ran into it again. Then it shrieked, ran into and behind some bushes and sat and watched me while I was scared as shit.I just walked backwards all the way to my cabin watching it. it was whitish and humanoid with two slightly oval-ish inky black eyes it was shorter than a normal adult like maybe 4-5 feet and had weird hands and its mouth was full of very sharp looking teeth and a sunken nose and no ears that I noticed. Note to anyone reading this I was almost 19 when I saw this and I am a strong dude work out a lot and am not scared ever really by people or animals but this was different.Also some girl I met recently was telling me weird stories about strange stuff and started talking about fall creek falls and described the creature I saw perfectly to the scream it made. very easy to make a fake as this take example all the bigfoot pictures and tracks out there if any of these were real they wouldnt last 5 minutes in the wild as it would be seen and shot what some people will do to make a buck or should i say scam millions of dollars from them

Alright, as for the picture, I’m not really sure if it’s real or fake. However, several months ago I saw a video. In said video a creature VERY similar to this one is filmed, It hears the cameraman and lets loose the scariest scream I’ve ever heard. It proceeds to chase the cameraman ( on all fours, VERY FUCKING FAST) who in the chase drops his camera. It was the scariest thing I have ever seen, and it was one of those moments where you cannot deny the legitimacy of what you’re seeing. That creature was real, and it was terrifying. The video has since disappeared from the Internet. All I can find now is this picture, and the first minute of the video( which ends right as the cameraman starts to run, cutting the creature out almost entirely). I don’t know if that picture is real or not but I will say things like that do exist. I live in NE Oklahoma and on my parents land there’s something that looks similiar to the “whatever” in the photo. The one that several of us have seen has more muscle, and wicked looking teeth. It has never hurt anyone but its always watching and no I don’t drink or do drugs, this is the truth!
I personalley have seen this creature in my neihbors backyard eatting out of the trash. My friends in the area have seen it too. I first thought it was a crackhead but it then got down on all fours and ran faster then any crackhead I ever seen and they run fast lol.
My son and his family went camping by the river one night and encountered many creatures like this. They came home at 2am scared and still out of breath. What made me a believer was my 6 yr old grandson. When my son described the eyes as yellow the 6 yr old said no dad tbey were gold. These creatures chased them jumping from tbe river up intp tne trees.
I’ve seen a lot of so called paranormal pics but this one pretty much takes the cake.
Yes there are some strange things out there. THis is not one of them.
